This practical seasonal maths activity is based on the Argos Christmas catalogue for 2019. There are plenty available in the store to give one to pupils to complete these task cards.

This is a seasonal maths resource based on the consolidation of number 0 – 10. The resource features images of Christmas Sloths to appeal to pupils at this time of year. Pupils are asked match the number to the correct image strip.

This resource is aimed at giving pupils practice of ordering words by alphabetical order. The vocabulary used pertains toseasonal items like gifts, decorations, bells, holly, snaowman etc. There are four different sets of five words to place in order, based only on the first letter of the word.

This resource is aimed at pupils in junior/middle classes or SEN pupils with speech and language difficulties. It assumes an ability to read. Its aim is to assess whether pupils can match the Christmas words with the appropriate images.

Laminate all of the pages in the resource. Cut up the images into 12 separate cards. Cut up the Christmas words on page 3. Adhere Velcro to the spaces under the images and to the rear of the Christmas words. Pupils then have to match the correct word to each image.
