This seasonal activity features ten different Christmas-themed images. It is aimed at the development of visual perception. Pupils have to match the silhouette to the Christmas-themed image.

Laminate all pages in the resource. Cut out the silhouettes and all of the matching baseboards. Place velcro in all of the blank boxes on the baseboards and at the rear of the silhouette images.

Silhouettes are placed on the pupil’s table, along with one of the baseboards. The pupil has to select the correct matching silhouette and place it beside its real image. We use activities like this in our SEN setting for independent tasks.

Alternatively, pupils could simply be given the printed pages and asked to cut and paste the matching images.
