With the theme of Christmas well under way in many classrooms throughout the country, this Christmas Vocabulary Image Mat might be a welcome addition to talk, discussion and writing on the theme of Christmas, especially in junior classes.

This could be displayed on the IWB to lead a class discussion and to help pupils to learn new seasonal vocabulary. It could also be printed out and laminated for each group of pupils to prompt written work on the topic of Christmas.
