In a digital era, we sometimes wonder if handwriting is still an important skill for pupils to learn. However, there are many benefits, both physical and educational, in getting pupils to practise penmanship and pencil control. This Christmas Tracing Booklet contains 30 pages of tracing practice with different patterns for pupils to trace with their pencil.

The download contains 30 separate worksheets which you could print to use individually, or they could be made into a booklet. There are a variety of patterns including straight lines, wavy lines, zig-zag lines, u-shaped lines etc. and in some pages towards the end, I have included pages with two different patterns. There are also a couple of wacky patterns!

If you wish to make this into a booklet, both a boy and a girl cover page is included.
