Description

This seasonal resource is aimed at pupils in middle/senior classes working on co-ordinates from the Shape and Space Strand of the Maths curriculum. It is based on pupils’ ability to work out the co-ordinates of a particular Christmas image on the grid. Pupils should have knowledge of these aspects of maths before engaging in this exercise.

There are four different activities with eight different worksheets in the resource for pupils to practise their skills in working out co-ordinates. Each activity is based on the Christmas Grid on the first page of the resource, so pupils should have a copy of this grid in order to answer the worksheet questions. Alternatively, the grid could be displayed on the Whiteboard and pupils just have the worksheet.
