Description

An acrostic poem is one where the beginning letter of each line spells out a particular word. Pupils generally tend to like to write these poems as they are easier than other types of poetry. This resource contains 27  Christmas Acrostic Poems templates for pupils to write their own seasonal poetry.

Each page features a Christmassy border, some small Christmas icons at the bottom and the Christmas-themed word along the left hand side which will start each line of the poem. Pupils can colour in the letters if they wish.

Words featured on the templates include Santa, baubles, stocking, mistletoe, Christmas, reindeer, holly, presents, candles etc.
