Description

This resource could be used as an aid to pupils in a variety of different classes. The word mat contains vocabulary associated with Christmas food. It would be especially useful for pupils when completing some written work or creative writing with a Christmas theme.

It could be used on the IWB to teach the vocabulary; it could be printed out and used as part of a display; it could be printed out and given to pupils to assist with Christmas written work. I usually use word mats like this to create something like a dinner menu for Christmas Day where pupils have to create a menu with Starters, Main Courses, Desserts and Drinks.
